This Privacy Policy explains how Beaverfix Inc. ("BeaverFix") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with www.beaverfix.com. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Effective date: September 1, 2026.
Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), profile photo, address and city. Jobber verification data: government-issued ID, trade licence, insurance certificate, references. Stored in a private, access-controlled bucket and viewed only by authorised BeaverFix staff. Booking data: job descriptions, photos, addresses, schedules, messages between Customers and Jobbers, invoices, payment status, reviews and disputes. Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and analytics events (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel where enabled), collected via cookies and similar technologies. Communications: contact-form submissions and support emails.
To create and manage accounts; verify Jobbers; match, schedule and fulfil bookings; issue invoices and process payments; send transactional notifications (email, in-app and SMS where enabled); resolve disputes; prevent fraud and abuse; improve the Platform; and, with your consent, send marketing communications. We do not sell personal information.
We share information only as needed: with the Jobber or Customer on the other side of a booking (name, booking address and phone are shared with the Jobber only after a booking is confirmed); with service providers who process data for us under contract (Supabase — hosting and database; Vercel — web hosting; Resend — email delivery; Google and Meta — analytics; PayPal — payment); with professional advisers; and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We use strictly necessary cookies for login sessions, and analytics/advertising cookies where enabled. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling necessary cookies will prevent login.
Account and booking records are kept while your account is active and for 7 years afterwards for tax and dispute purposes. Verification documents are deleted 90 days after a Jobber account is closed or rejected, except where retention is required by law.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Access is role-based and logged. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada of breaches as required by law.
You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent for marketing at any time, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Contact hello@beaverfix.com. We respond within 30 days.
Our providers may store data in the United States or other countries. Such data may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
