These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.beaverfix.com and related services (the "Platform") operated by Beaverfix Inc. ("BeaverFix", "we", "us"), Toronto, ON, Canada. By creating an account or booking a service you agree to these Terms. Effective date: September 1, 2026.
BeaverFix operates a home-services booking service in the Greater Toronto Area. Customers ("Customers") book independent service providers ("Jobbers") through the Platform. BeaverFix verifies Jobber identity and documentation, facilitates scheduling and messaging, issues invoices, collects payment from Customers and remits payment to Jobbers. Jobbers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of BeaverFix, except where BeaverFix expressly states that a service is performed by its own staff.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account. One person may not hold more than one Customer account. BeaverFix may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, provide false information, or harm other users.
Instant bookings. A booking request becomes a confirmed booking when the Jobber accepts it. The hourly rate shown at booking is fixed for that booking. An estimate is based on the hours you select; the final invoice reflects hours actually worked as logged by the Jobber and, where disputed, as determined by BeaverFix. Posted jobs. When you post a job, BeaverFix may assign a Jobber from those who express interest. A booking is confirmed when you accept the assignment. Minimum. Each booking has a two-hour minimum unless stated otherwise. Materials. Rates cover labour only unless the booking states otherwise. Materials agreed between you and the Jobber may be added to the invoice with receipts.
Customers may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or no-shows, may be charged the two-hour minimum at the booked rate. If a Jobber cancels, no charge applies and BeaverFix will attempt to re-match you.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. HST at the applicable Ontario rate is added to invoices. After a booking is marked complete, BeaverFix issues an invoice payable within 7 days by Interac e-Transfer to seninitiativesltd@gmail.com or via PayPal. Payment is made to BeaverFix, not to the Jobber. Overdue invoices may incur a 2% monthly late charge and suspension of booking privileges. Promo codes are subject to their stated conditions and cannot be combined.
If you are not satisfied, open a dispute from the booking page within 7 days of completion. BeaverFix will review the booking record, messages, photos and invoice and may reduce the invoice, issue a partial or full refund, or arrange remedial work. BeaverFix's determination in a dispute is final as between the Platform and the Customer, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
Reviews may only be left for completed bookings and must be honest and lawful. You grant BeaverFix a non-exclusive licence to display content you post (reviews, photos, job descriptions) on the Platform. We may remove content that is abusive, false or infringing.
You agree not to: contact Jobbers to arrange work outside the Platform for jobs found through it; harass or discriminate against any user; misuse the messaging system; attempt to access other accounts or data; or use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
BeaverFix reviews Jobber identity documents and, where a category requires it, licence and insurance documents. Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk. BeaverFix does not itself perform the work (unless expressly stated) and is not a party to the service contract between you and the Jobber. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeaverFix's aggregate liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount you paid BeaverFix for that booking. BeaverFix is not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
The Platform, the BeaverFix name, logo and content are owned by Beaverfix Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape or reuse them without permission.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules.
